Antidote is a collection of poems interspersed with an understanding of accepting the harsh realities of one's life & the love within it. Boiling it all down to simplicity and using that understanding as gratitude. Life is an unlimited resource of pain and joy, but what you do with all this "matter" is map a way to be grateful for it instead of melting into a puddle of pessimism. Perhaps you will ask yourself "Where has your gratitude been lately?" and conteract the metaphorical poison we often times allow ourselves to believe in.

"At turns sensual, spiritual, musical, and instructional, Andra Knox is rooting for us — and for himself — in his poetry collection. Romance is glimpsed through the rearview mirror and matters of the heart and soul are held up to the light, offering an invitation to follow suit. Perhaps this really is the Antidote. 'May light scatter to the ground in a beautiful pattern around you.' " — Katja Bartholmess, Author of Former Hopeful
"Antidote, seems more than a poetry collection to me. It is a reckoning and reawakening. It's a ritual lexicon betrothed to personal scripture. More importantly though, it is a map of how someone breaks, remembers, loves, suffers, and eventually transcends into the person they always were, but never knew." — Jalen Tucker, Screenwriter
" 'Life is so fragile, how could you treat it with such hardness?' sums up this body of work by Andra Knox. Antidote is a collection of thoughts, stories and ideas that center around fragility and the will to proceed without harshness." — Jeremy Jace Wallace, Author of A Book For People Who Love People Vol 1 & 2
