The Power of Becoming was written to help people achieve personal fulfillment in their daily lives. Its intent is to enable readers to regularly find peace purpose and happiness in their walks of life. It is about living lives that are more rewarding than they have been in the past even if the past has been good.

All of us want to "become something. The Power of Becoming identifies ways to "become." The book has two basic premises. First of all becoming is three-dimensional living: physical intellectual and spiritual. Secondly The Power of Becoming implies that we become when we care about more than just ourselves. This book asks us to consider how we are living out each day among our fellow humans. After all we are all "pieces of the Continent parts of the main " as John Donne once asserted.

What are you and I becoming today? Paul Mork asserts that becoming is the most important word in any man or woman's vocabulary. Not became nor will become just simply present tense becoming.

Through a unique arrangement of thought-provoking chapters idea-validating essays and personal letters of advice to people of various ages and from various walks of life readers are led to examine their own lives in the modern world.
