"No . . . I am not a cat! I am a dog."
Join Kitty, a lovable mutt from Minnesota, on her hilarious adventures, which are often as unlikely as her name. In these stories told from Kitty's point of view and illustrated by Kitty's human, readers will discover how Kitty learns to love (or at least tolerate) her cat sister, navigate going to school and work, and live her dream of catching a squirrel (kind of). Readers will want to return to these humorous and heartwarming tales again and again.
Barbara Linert is both the author and illustrator of Tales of a Dog Named Kitty, based on real-life stories of her favorite pup. Linert and her husband live in Minnesota, where they also raised their three happily married daughters, who have given them eight grandchildren and a plethora of "grandanimals," including Kitty. This is her first children's book.
