Naljorpa Chhi'mèd Künzang loves language in all its forms. He studied computer science and creative writing at Stanford University. He has practiced Vajrayana Buddhism since 1993 and is now a Lama of the Aro gTér Lineage in the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. A long-time practitioner of the martial arts, Chhi'mèd has earned black belts in multiple grappling disciplines and teaches Gar-tak, the Tibetan martial art associated with Ling Gésar. He is a software engineer and programming language designer by occupation and currently resides in the Los Angeles area.
