The title in question is a novel in the category of ‘Adult-Literary’-fiction. The book itself offers to the reader a narrative presenting a dramatic scenario involving a single protagonist who resides in the cities of 1)Berkeley, California, 2)San Francisco California, and 3)Minneapolis, Minnesota over the course of the narrative’s timeline of dramatic incidents which unfold before the reader’s eyes.
The book itself presents to the reader a specific environment which the protagonist inhabits and the factors at large in such a backdrop which serve to influence and frame the protagonist’s particular state of mind over the course of the term which he spends in such a location, as such elements on hand in such a place (e.g.’s, prostitutes, narcotics, nightclubs, 24-hr. convenience outlets, bars, homeless residents, streetgang members, high rates of violent crime, etc.) contribute to re-framing the particular perspective on society and humanity which the protagonist possesses, encouraging the particular character to adopt a specific pattern of behavior which the readers would determine to be both destructive to himself and to the community at large which surrounds the particular character in question, whom the readers are allowed to follow over the course of the narrative’s timeline of dramatic events.
Adrien L. Montgomery was born in San Diego, California on March 20, 1971. He grew up in San Diego, attending Miramar Ranch Elementary School, Wangenheim Jr. High School, and Mira Mesa High School. Adrien graduated from Mira Mesa High School in June of 1989 as a student with a distinguished record of academic achievement. He then began attending the University of California at Berkeley in the Autumn of 1989. After transferring to a campus in the San Diego Community College District in the Autumn of 1990, he attended schools inside the” S.D.C.C.D.”-organization before transferring back to U.C. Berkeley in the “Spring”-semester of 1993. In the “Autumn”-semester of 1993,
Adrien discontinued enrollment at the “U.C. Berkeley”-campus voluntarily due to social factors prevailing in the region which precipitated a decline on his part with respect to any desire to continue attending the university in question to obtain a degree in the particular subject which he was studying at the time at which he decided to terminate attendance at the campus. In 2006, Adrien left the San Francisco Bay Area to relocate to the “Twin Cities” region of (Minneapolis/St. Paul) Minnesota, trusting such an environment, i.e., the Northern-Central section of the Midwest, would offer him the specific environment necessary to one seeking an inspiring backdrop permitting a writer to create fresh work of “Adult Literary”--fiction offering to the reading public a coherent statement on factors prevalent in an urban backdrop that contributes to the re-framing of a young adult’s particular state of mind over the term in which he resides in such a place.
