Zeesha's Journey is a delightful children's book for Easter. In the previous book, Zeesha's Tale: A Story for Christmas and Easter, the young donkey, Zeesha, is introduced and carries Jesus to Jerusalem. His mother, Seila, carried Mary to Bethlehem and their long-ago ancestress Lal who carried the prophet Balaam and who could see angels!
This story continues as Zeesha begins his journey with a stranger who becomes a friend.
An excerpt from Zeesha's Journey reads like this:
That's when I felt a gentle scratch behind my left ear - the best place - and looked up into the kindest eyes I had ever seen.
"We meet again, little one," the man said. And those gentle eyes...
Those eyes smiled at me.
