Her book is a culmination of more than thirty years of analysis and spiritual mentorship. Dr. Numbers has a Masters Degree in Social Work and a Doctoral Degree in Psychology. She has a private practice as a psychotherapist in Ocean Isle, NC, and is also a spiritual teacher. She currently resides in Calabash, NC, with her husband Jeff, her parrot, Lily, and her adorable dogs, Murphy and Pip.
