heather liz wrote her debut collection of poetry, radical., on accident. A culmination of events: leaving a high-demand religion, being in law school and realizing it really wasn't too different from the religion she just left, and having orgasms for the first time as an adult caused her to realize what we have done to women. This collection captures her first observations of the world, as it currently stands, and her critiques and suggestions for how to change it.

heather liz is a poet, activist, and newly graduated lawyer. She didn't mean to start writing poetry, but then again, she also didn't mean to lose her beliefs and much of her identity along with it. She is an advocate for change in this world and uses her writing to bring awareness and to inspire the re-making of society. radical., is her first published poetry collection. heather liz lives in North Carolina with her spouse and five children. She desperately wants to leave them with a better world. http://www.heather-liz.com/
