Vikas Narula is a co-founder of the nonprofit Neighborhood Forest. He is a graduate of Maharishi International University (MIU), where he founded an environmental club inspired by the American Free Tree Program. It was during this time that Vikas discovered his profound affinity for nature and trees, often reminiscing about his happiest childhood moments when he was simply hanging out in a tree or forest.

Continuing his pursuit of knowledge and personal growth, Vikas earned an MBA from Duke University, where he refined his leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit. Throughout his life, Vikas has been driven by a deep exploration of the interconnectedness of himself with others, nature, and Spirit, finding inspiration in the goodness of God, the beauty of nature, and the generosity of humans.

Vikas finds joy and fulfillment in seeing things grow - his family, his ventures, and his trees! He resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with his wife Priya, their two sons, Nayan and Ishaan, and their beloved husky, Wolfee. Together, they have worked to enhance community, grow the forest, and facilitate spiritual growth, even as they navigate the ups and downs of family life, work, and the pursuit of a better world.
