Born on a Georgia plantation in 1796 to James and Ida Mandazzi, Roho Mandazzi is subjected to slavery, one of many horrors of mankind. In the year 1811, Roho is twenty-five years old when an accident results in his father killing a member of the plantation. The plantation owner punishes this action by executing James in front of his family, including his newest son Olwenyo. This final straw causes newly-widowed Ida to want to escape. Along with Roho's love interest Mya, brother Olwenyo, and Roho himself, they run. Their attempt is futile and they too are executed.

Lying in his own grave, Roho Mandazzi hears a mysterious voice who grants him a second chance on earth as a ghostly being. This comes with an acquired set of ghostly powers Roho can use to protect those who are oppressed as he once was. From 1811 onward, Roho becomes a myth, a legend to the people who see him, if only for a fleeting moment. Rumors spread of a ghost, sparking the name "The Night Wraith". Night Wraith becomes the hero of the oppressed, a symbol of hope.

Issue one of many!

Ty Marcellus was born and raised in southern Minnesota. From a young age, he always had a passion for the arts, especially music and books. Ty plays six instruments and has managed and booked concerts for small and big-name acts, as well as helping four recording studios/record labels and recording four albums.

When he's not working on a music project or brainstorming new storylines for a comic, Ty spends his time weightlifting, watching and playing rugby, practicing one of three martial arts, and being a film buff.

Always fond of reading Marvel comics, Ty began creating superheroes as a kid, but didn't lay the first building block of the Nu World Comics universe until college, where one hero would turn into a universe of thousands. Focused on diversity with characters that relate to every race, religion, sex, disability, and orientation, Ty has built a massive comic book universe that has forty years' worth of stories outlined with incredibly epic events to come.

Nic Torán is a young rapscallion from lovely London. He realized the only thing he could do well was draw, and eighteen corrupting years later, he realized you could make money from that.

He inserts a little of his experiences as an engineering student and as a judoka into his work. He is an avid fan of comics and graphic media from a variety of countries.

Nic's aim with his contributions to Nu World Comics is to experiment with styles and aesthetics to give each story and character an appropriate and unique atmosphere.

Here's to a long-lasting involvement!
