Jonathan "Minhzy" Truong is a Vietnamese American who has spent his personal and professional life championing community and cultural diversity. Currently head of community at Codecademy, Jonathan previously fostered diverse small businesses with Yelp's community department, where he cofounded Yelp's first Asian-Pacific Islander employee resource group. He is a Gold House Community Fellow and founder of the Loc Hoang Truong Fellowship for first-generation graduate students at the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Jonathan currently lives in the Bronx with his Taiwanese American wife, their two children, and a Pekingese poodle named Cranberry.
