Jonathan “Minhzy” Truong is a Vietnamese American educator, community builder, and advocate for cultural pride and belonging. He lives in the Bronx, New York, where he teaches marketing at a local university and invests in the next generation of leaders. He is the founder of the Loc Hoang Truong Fellowship at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs, created in honor of his late father. The fellowship supports first-generation college students, with a focus on those committed to uplifting refugee communities. Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys life with his brilliant wife, their two creative and curious children, and their slightly cranky Pekingese poodle.
