Everyday Blessings follows the journey of a child as she discovers some of life's most important everyday blessings—love, gratitude, joy, and courage among them. Follow along and make note of your own daily blessings. Jot them down, draw a picture, or snap a photo each day and save them in the pockets you will create in this beautifully illustrated, loving book. When you do, Everyday Blessings will become a keepsake full of the gratitude you have felt for the little and oh-so-important things life can offer.

Rachael Sands and James Thiemann are the authors of Everyday Blessings. Together they have faced many trials, as James was only twenty-five years old when he had an unwitnessed cardiac arrest and was given a less than 2 percent chance to live. Their love story never ceased during his recovery and has been shared nationwide through local news channels, the American Heart Association (Team James), and TLC. Throughout their journey, Rachael and James realized the value of their everyday blessings and they have learned to never take those blessings for granted. In June of 2021 Rachael and James had a little girl and named her Gracey. With this book they want to create a legacy for her—and for all of us—to remember the simple blessings we can be thankful for each day!

Brian Schmidt is the owner of and artist behind Lower Woodland Studio.
