It is about the difficulty of translating the culture and work ethic of a peasant farming family background into achieving success at one of the highest engineering institutions of learning in the world. After graduation the author embarks on a successful award-winning career developing and building complex machines around the world. He rises to become a leader as an engineering executive in a global industry dominating company.
Joshua Zulu BSc. MBA. PE. 6 Sigma MBB. retired from Caterpillar Inc. as an Engineering Manager. He received the Excellence-in-Design award from Design News magazine for his 1995 invention of a Gearless Hydro-Mechanical Transmission. He is dedicated to promoting education for the poor.
