Amanda M. Ferris is an international businesswoman with Twin Cities roots. She is the managing director for Clover & Kind and the host of the podcast The Goal Next Door. Her previous books include YOU: The Sting Operative (100 Tactics to Change the World, Right From Your Own Neighborhive). Margarita Sikorskaia was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, and grew up a free-spirited tomboy, climbing trees, zooming on a bike, communing with forest spirits, and getting into trouble. But she could also sit quietly and draw for hours on end. Nature was her guide and inspiration. Margarita came to Minneapolis in 1990 after training in classical art at the Hertzen Pedagogical University of St. Petersburg. A prolific and passionate artist, she has exhibited her paintings throughout the country. She has published over a dozen children's books, winning multiple awards. She takes much pride and pleasure in bringing children's books to life.
