Om Sweet Om is the inspiring story of how a stressed-out corporate junkie found her way to a yoga mat—and eventually, back to herself.
After fifteen years of working in the land of cubicles, unreasonable deadlines, and unhealthy habits, Nicole Lovald realized there had to be a better way to live. She had lost sight of how to take care of herself, and her body was letting her know that something had to give. Om Sweet Om takes you through her transformation, as well as the practical tools she used on her mind-body-spirit path.
In this book you will find hope, humor, raw emotion, vulnerability, and endless wisdom. The practical exercises sprinkled throughout make for a life-changing experience and will appeal to anyone who has found themselves searching. No matter what it is you seek, Om Sweet Om shares how to quiet the inner mind’s chatter and unnecessary striving so that you can become whole again.

REVIEWS / ENDORSEMENTS:
“A deeply personal memoir, endlessly thought-provoking and enlightening.” —Dan Janal, author, speaker, and coach
“In a world concerned with what we do, how much we’ve done, and what we will do next, Nicole asks if we are happy with who we are. This shift in focus from listing accomplishments to evaluating the depth of our authenticity is unnerving yet necessary. While she walks us through her journey from corporate junkie to yogi, she mines readers with questions and suggestions for uncovering their true selves. By book’s end, you can’t help be transformed. You may not feel compelled to leave your day job as Nicole did, but you will better understand what you need to live a life you recognize as your own.” —Kara Douglass Thom, author of Hot (Sweaty) Mamas: Five Secrets to Life as a Fit Mom
“If you have been sensing for some time that you are on the verge of “a shift,” but aren’t quite sure what this is or how to go about it, this book is for you! Nicole puts into words the things that are tugging at many of us inwardly. She inspires readers to make little life changes that can lead to surprising and unexpected results . . . An inspirational must-read!” —Heidi Kopacek, PsyD, psychologist, and author
