Let It Rip! The Art of the Fart takes children readers as travelers around the world, under the sea, and up into space, teaching about gas everywhere, including gas and individual beings. Through our host, Fluff the Fart, we come to understand that farting makes us a part of everything; we learn how gas has an impact on climate change; we even learn how to say "fart" in different languages!
Let It Rip! The Art of the Fart is chock full of relatable kids—every reader will identify with at least one! Delightful characters entertain and educate young (and old) kids about "Fartiquette"—the etiquette of farting—as if it is no big deal; and teach us the most important rule of all, which is: "Always remember to say 'Excuse me!'"
Let It Rip! The Art of the Fart is a charmingly illustrated children's survival manual with specific advice on how to deal with farting, AND how to transform fart-based isolation, rejection, and shame into "everyday" life skills. Accompanied by expressive illustrations, this journey turns one of the (formerly) most dreaded bodily functions, The Fart, into a well-timed, normal, and acceptable behavior. Let It Rip! The Art of the Fart is a must-read for anyone who farts.
A tender-hearted animal and human lover, Amy Nystrom's heart's desire has always been that people treat one another kindly. Let It Rip! The Art of the Fart is Amy's invitation to enjoy, through humor and commonality, our connectedness with all other beings.

Very well researched ! I learned a lot. Let it Rip is a must have for every reader's library. <3
Although this book is written for children, it has been a hit with us, seniors, as a Senior Dating Etiquette Guide! Or should we say, "fartiquette." It is factually correct and researched, delightfully illustrated and fun to read. I especially like the "Flow chart" of etiquette and the option to purchase stickers of farm animals and or people. Let the fart begin!
Let It Rip! is a colorful and cute way to teach kids (of all ages!) the science and etiquette of the potentially embarrassing passing of gas . Did you know that snails don't but the sun does? It sat on open on our table for a couple days so we could learn a little and laugh every day. It's thorough in it's explanations of why and what to do when it happens to you... and it will.... and it's OK! I recommend it for yourself, your kids or a fun party gift.
