Hello! Welcome to the second book in the Kids Carrots Book Series.
Please join Henry the Heron and his critter friends in the garden as we play laugh and learn life's lessons.
Mother a chicken gets so distracted about going to Hoot Owl's Full Moon Party that she forgets to enjoy the presents of today. With the help of the bunny turtle and squirrel families Little Glitter Duck learns that true beauty comes from the inside. And a kitten named Bounce grows into her own as she tries out new behaviors while her critter buddies give her space and understanding.
These are just a few of the stories. So come on over and take a seat next to Henry. Meet the rest of the critters and let us share our favorite stories with you.
A portion of every book sale goes to Shepherd's Gate Shelter for Women and Children in Livermore CA.

My son was introduced to Henry through Sondra's first book just before he turned two. . . . I can't say enough about the lessons that Sondra is teaching through colorful characters and in a manner that makes sense to my son as he is growing. Lessons like embracing differences believing in yourself and being careful what you wish for . . . With Sondra's help he is learning things that will serve him well when the school bell rings. --Kristen Tullis mother of three little ones
