In this working mom self-help book, Kimberly Kupiecki asks: Can you have a family and grow your career? Yes, you can. Can you do it perfectly? Nope, not a chance.

Say goodbye to "work-life balance" and "having it all" and hello to the messy truth: navigating motherhood and career is hard, and you are not alone.

The Beautiful Mess isn't just a bunch of working mom hacks (although, those are in there, too!). It's an essential mindset shift for parents that affirms: no parent is perfect. And it's time to overcome Mom guilt and find joy in imperfection.

Kimberly Kupiecki is a senior director, keynote speaker, and a mother of three. In this professional parent guidebook, she shares reassuring wisdom about navigating the wild ride of raising kids while working.

Kimberly gives readers everywhere permission to lower the bar and give themselves a break, personally and professionally.

Part self-help and part relatable heartfelt memoir, The Beautiful Mess features survival tips including:

  • Navigating maternity leave and career reentry.
  • Outsourcing for help.
  • Owning your value as a successful working mom.
  • Simplifying self-care to make your day-to-day easier.
  • Maintaining your friendships when you're in the midst of family and career.

A perfect gift for new moms climbing the corporate ladder while anxiously Googling "how to be a good mom," fans of The Art of Good Enough and Dying to Be a Good Mother will love the story of someone who has "been there, done that."

Kim's refreshing approach reminds you that it's okay to pump breast milk while being on a conference call, to reprimand your children while cranking out a presentation, and to have a toddler on your lap while pitching a new idea.

It's okay to take a step back from the chaos and have a good laugh. It's okay to not be okay.

After all, the most beautiful memories are often found in the messiest of moments.
