TRYING TO GET PREGNANT SUCKS.

Everyone's journey through the world of fertility looks different, but we can all agree on one thing: attempting to conceive is not always as fun as it sounds. While you're jumping hurdle after hurdle of negative pregnancy tests, doctor visits, and invasive procedures, it stings to see your friends breeze past you with their easy pregnancies. If there are doulas to help coach women through the labor process, why can't anyone coach you through infertility?

Tia ChapinskiĀ andĀ Daniella VirijevicĀ wroteĀ The Infertility DoulaĀ just for you. Their infertility struggles have spanned years and the entire continent of North America, and they're here to share the friendly advice they've collected in their experiences. In this book, Tia and Daniella break down essential tips for dealing with:

  • IUI, IVF, specialized doctors, and fertility medications
  • Pregnancy tests and the two-week wait
  • Female and male factor infertility
  • Miscarriage, pregnancy loss, and the real costs of infertility
  • Adoption, donor embryos, surrogacy, and living child-free

But you don't have to take just their word for it. Inside, you'll find stories from other people just like you who are struggling down the path of fertility, reminding you that you are not alone. Whenever you feel the hopeless urge to run away from it all,Ā The Infertility DoulaĀ will be here to help you find strength for your fight to conceive.

"Infertility is a significant health-related experience that seems to require lots of science, yet we need to infuse it with a lot more love and support to those suffering through this unexpected infertile journey. Having practiced assisted reproduction and infertility for nearly thirty years, I have learned how critical a compassionate and knowledgeable guide is and how it is lacking in the science focused fertility world. The Infertility Doula is an amazing new book by Tia Chapinski and Daniella Virijevic that gives those in need immense insight into how powerful and important individual support is for each and every one of us who is suffering from one of the most natural and basic human needsā€”reproduction. Their new book brings critical guidance and sharing of ideas that will inspire and entertain, and you will gain the spark of knowledge and faith to keep on one of the most challenging journeys of life. I highly recommend all on this crazy infertility journey to read." - Dr. Robert Kiltz, MD, owner and director of CNY Fertility Center

"Compassionate and intelligent, The Infertility Doula is a gift to people who are struggling with the many difficulties of the fertility journey. I've been working in the field for more than twenty years, and I learned a lot from Daniella's and Tia's careful research and presentation! Share this important book with people you know are working hard to build their families." - Dr. Deborah Simmons, PhD, LMFT

"A fantastic resource . . . an asset to anyone who finds themselves struggling with infertility, and I would highly recommend it." - David F. Clay, MD and OBGYN, Clinic Sofia
