In this self-help book for women facing difficult life challenges, Mayo Clinic researcher, speaker, and coach, Dr. Kasey Boehmer, offers a meaningful and practical approach to personal growth and development.

High achievers aren't immune to life's complications—especially when major life events occur. Dreams and careers can easily get sidetracked by grief, chronic illness, new family dynamics, and other overwhelming situations. So, how can you learn to thrive through those challenges and commit to living a purpose-driven life?

Kasey Boehmer, a successful doctor and researcher who has lived with multiple chronic illnesses since childhood, is well-studied in the art of persevering through difficult times. In fact, you could say she has it down to a science. In The Chronic Overachiever, Boehmer reflects on what she calls "antidotes"—strategies that have helped her persist when life gets tough.

In this engaging and actionable self-development book, discover evidence-based strategies to:

  • Overcome your fear of the unknown
  • Manage real-life struggles and how they impact stress in the body
  • Build a secure foundation for a life filled with safety, joy, and progress

Fans of Do Hard Things by Steve Magness and The Gifts of Imperfection by Dr. Brené Brown will appreciate the powerful combination of Boehmer's personal experience as a patient, research-driven approach to healing, and simple yet applicable tools for managing life's speed bumps with ease.

The Chronic Overachiever is a valuable self-development gift for any high achiever, especially those who are chronically ill or going through a particularly trying time.

Don't let life get you down—your biggest breakthrough is on the other side of your biggest struggle!
