Hawaiʻi Visions is an exuberant collection of watercolors and writings by Bro Halff. This joyful volume captures the warmth, beauty, and spiritual allure of the Hawaiian Islands. The book includes over 100 vivid landscapes, townscapes, and cityscapes. As in its companion volume, "Hawaiʻi Days," the author colorfully portrays one of the world's most beautiful locations.

As a long-time resident of Hawai'i, the author enthusiastically conveys his vision of Hawaiʻi, through his vibrant paintings, prose, and poetry. His work reflects his personal experiences and journeys throughout the islands. The book highlights not only the islands' natural splendor but also the rich cultural tapestry that makes Hawaiʻi captivating and unique.

Since 1972, Bro Halff's artistic career has encompassed poetry, painting, and sculpture. His watercolors depict, with bright colors and bold composition, rural, urban and small-town America. His artworks have been shown in galleries throughout the United States, and his limited-edition books have been collected by rare book libraries. His recent books include volumes of paintings and writings inspired by California, North Dakota, and Hawaii. Mr. Halff lives on Kauaʻi, in Hawaiʻi. In San Diego, he maintains an art gallery and Simpler Gifts Press, which publishes artist's books, limited-edition prints, and art cards.

"impressive in its variety...traces of e.e. cummings' whimsicality are in his lines..." — Robert Pincus, former Arts Critic of the San Diego Union-Tribune

"...joyful and sensitive poetry... with a Haiku-like quality that implicitly tells us to seize the present moment." — Richard Hamburger, late Artistic Director of the Dallas Theater Center
