Siddhartha Padmanabha lived in California before falling in love with New Orleans. He spends his days taking care of cancer patients as a radiation oncologist. He loves raising chickens and traveling. Once his son, Mathieu, is old enough, Siddhartha looks forward to introducing him to Sri Lanka.

Nimmi Ponnambalam was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka and educated at Ladies’ College, Colombo. She attended her senior year of high school in West Covina, California and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. She taught elementary school in Orange County, California, specializing in working with special needs students.

Nila Perez is a visual artist from Jalisco, Mexico. She studied Fine Arts at the Universidad de Guadalajara. Her first exhibition was at a local coffee shop. Since then, she has hosted exhibitions in Mexico, the United States, Cuba, Argentina, and Denmark. Her latest adventure brings her a new family, a new chapter in her career, and a new city—colorful New Orleans.
