The summer of 2013 she performed Gynecologic surgeries and taught the local doctors how to perform Gynecologic Surgery without disfiguring the women. That experience inspired her to develop a foundation to promote health and wellness for the women in Africa.
In her local community she gives back as a proctor for the local Medical School a program designed for high school students interested in Medicine. She believes and encourages students to manifest their dreams by imagining themselves already there.
She is a Board member for a non-profit inner city nursing home - Mary Scott Nursing Home a member of The Dayton Chapter of the Links Incorporated Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and a speaker for Women's Healthcare. Dr. Rosalind Jackson is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters Ravyn and Riana. She is originally from Grand Rapids Michigan where most of her family resides. In her spare time she enjoys reading gardening which she refers to as dirt therapy and traveling.
