Follow Skipper on a journey to find a home in the vibrant world of native plants!

In Skipper Finds Home, Skipper, a brave little caterpillar looking for the perfect home, explores nature and discovers the beauty of native plants and prairie landscapes. A book of lushly illustrated simple contrasts (such as hot and cold, hard and soft, and bright and dark), Skipper Finds Home reveals the importance of native plants within our ecosystems and also raises awareness about the endangered Dakota skipper butterfly and its habitat. Perfect for bedtime or classroom reading, Skipper's story will foster curiosity and a deep appreciation for nature-based learning. Most of the native plants featured in the book are keystone species, which means they play a crucial role in conservation efforts.
