In Miss Bloom's lively classroom, every student thinks, learns, and creates in their own unique way. Some spin. Some sort. Some build forts or dream of outer space. And when big feelings bubble up, they learn how to listen to, support, and care for one another.

Minds of All Kinds is a heartwarming picture book that celebrates neurodiversity, empathy, and the beauty of being yourself.

It reminds us that when we embrace how each brain works, we create something even more powerful than any classroom project—a place of kindness and belonging.

Kaitlyn Hokana Nelson is an advocate for neurodiversity, a late-diagnosed ADHDer, a marketing creative, and a debut children's book author. Through both personal and professional life, she has learned how beautifully different brains can be, and how powerful it is when kids (and grown-ups) feel seen, understood, and supported. Kaitlyn enjoys traveling, reading, and building LEGO creations. She lives in Minnesota with her husband, two kids, and two Cavapoo dogs.

Stephanie Hider is an illustrator who loves to work on picture books that focus on empowerment. She enjoys doing kid-based illustrations but also loves the variety of magical and mystical imagery. In her free time she enjoys walks with her Maltipoo, reading, nature, and bee watching. She lives in Oklahoma with her daughter and puppy.

"Kaitlyn has written something truly special here. Minds of All Kinds doesn't just teach kids about neurodiversity, it teaches them empathy, and that every single brain belongs. I know firsthand how powerful it is to feel seen, and this is the book I wish every classroom had." — Anna Elder, autism advocate and founder, Twin Cities Autism Support Network

"Minds of All Kinds beautifully captures the magic that happens when students have a teacher who embraces, celebrates, and encourages their unique neurotypes. Ms. Bloom models what true acceptance looks like—meeting each student where they are and guiding her class to do the same. It's the kind of classroom every child deserves. This story reminds readers that inclusion isn't just important, it's a gift to us all." — Katie Engstrom, founder, See Me Neurodiverse

"I love the way Kaitlyn's book describes the small ways we can understand our neurodivergent friends better, and help everyone have an enjoyable learning experience! The illustrations are great as well!" — Laura Olson, co-founder, Twin Cities Autism Foundation
