Everyone knows that it’s hard to stay motivated and optimistic in difficult times. But that is the rule, and author Annie Meehan wants to you be the exception. This book outlines seven steps to break out of cycles of negativity, anger, and feelings of worthlessness. It gives you concrete strategies to deal with the negative fallout from issues like abuse, mental illness, and financial hardship. The beginning of the journey back to your true self means the end of exhaustion and unhappiness. The path to personal transformation means being honest and compassionate with yourself. It means accepting that you were put on Earth to do something big, and that you have all the tools inside of yourself to get there. It means giving yourself everything you need to grow in the direction of your destiny.
Be the Exception is a wake-up call that will not only encourage readers to reflect on their lives, but to achieve real results. It is a refreshing reminder that change is possible, and that there is every reason to hold on to hope. Meehan’s message of inspiration and compassion is not just necessary, and not just useful. It’s exceptional, and so are you.
